Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Genfollio is an online platform for creating, managing, and publishing professional portfolios, CVs, projects, and blog content.
Information we collect
- Account and profile information may include your name, email address, username, profile details, portfolio content, uploaded images, projects, blog posts, and contact information.
- Technical information may include IP address, browser and device details, cookies, session information, service logs, and analytics data.
Future Facebook integration data
- If you choose to connect Facebook in a future release, we may collect a Facebook user identifier, Facebook Page ID and Page name, a Page access token, permissions you approve, and publishing history and post identifiers.
- We will use this data to connect a Facebook Page, display Pages you manage, publish posts you select or schedule, and operate and troubleshoot the integration.
- Genfollio will not sell Facebook user data.
How we use information
- We use information to provide and secure accounts, host and display portfolios, process requested features, communicate with you, understand service performance, prevent abuse, and improve Genfollio.
Storage and security
- We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Future Facebook access tokens must be encrypted at rest and must never be placed in browser storage, URLs, or logs.
Retention and deletion
- We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, prevent fraud, meet billing obligations, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal requirements. Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
- Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion of personal information. You may update account content through Genfollio or contact support. We may need to verify your request.
Disconnecting Facebook
- When Facebook integration becomes available, you will be able to disconnect it in Settings → Integrations → Facebook. You may also request deletion through our Facebook Data Deletion page. Disconnecting stops future integration activity but does not necessarily delete information we must retain for security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal reasons.
Cookies and third-party services
- We use cookies and sessions for authentication, preferences, security, and service operation, and may use analytics. Genfollio relies on third-party hosting, database, email, payment, image, analytics, and—in the future—Meta services. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices.
Policy updates
- We may update this policy as Genfollio changes. We will post the revised policy and update the date shown here; material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
Contact
- Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
